Use the current official pet-entry rules as your checklist, especially for identification, vaccination and documentation. Then plan the practical side: airline or ferry rules, pet-friendly housing, transport and a local veterinarian.

We made a folder with every pet document and carried printed copies too. It reduced the stress enormously on travel day.
