Is spring or autumn better for Nafplio if I want fewer crowds?

For a slower visit, both shoulder seasons work well. Spring tends to feel greener and fresher; early autumn often keeps warmer sea and evening temperatures. Holiday weekends can still be busy.

Late September was our sweet spot: warm evenings, easy parking during the week and enough life in town without August crowds.

We prefer April because the walking weather is better for us. Easter week can be busy, so I would check the calendar.
